Lovely customer service and my partners chicken was chargrilled and my partner doesn't like that but they did fantastic to put it right. Top customer service, my gammon was lovey and they gave us a nice complementary drink due to the inconvenience. Thank you, lovely people behind the bar

But, thought we’d try this pub as reviews seemed ok. Very impressed. Had usually sort of fayre. Scampi and chilli con carne. And drinks. But. Barman/manager was really friendly. And, as it was shrove Tuesday gave us complimentary pancakes! Many thanks. Much appreciated. Will definitely be back next time in Paignton. Keith and Steph

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was my first visit to Paignton as I was visiting a friend. We were staying at the Travelodge, on the sea front, and their food was vile. Therefore, I said we’d eat out and we ended up here at Grand Central.
Really impressed by the friendly and welcoming staff, and the excellent full English breakfast that we had.
I was not looking to fault the experience, and couldn’t find anything anyway.
I’m definitely coming back the next time I visit my friend, as we will be staying a hotel much closer to this establishment.
I totally forgot to take a picture of my meal, but it was so good that I left only an empty plate! So, I think that speaks for itself.

I stayed in Paignton from the 23rd December to January 2nd and my favourite go to pub was Grand Central, the pub is super smart and clean, flat screens a plenty great for sports. The landlady Tracey and landlord Malcolm and family run a welcoming happy place, the bar staff like Jess , Denise, etc always welcoming and friendly with plenty of smiles . I'm definitely returning in March same hotel and will be eating and drinking in the Central.
